Ambassadors

Matt Schwartz

Baseball and Israel have shaped me since childhood—from Little League and Yankee Stadium to a Jewish day school that anchored me in our history and connection to the land of Israel. Israel Baseball is where those threads meet. It is a bridge that uses the universal language of sport to turn strangers into teammates and teammates into community.

In a time of rising antisemitism and polarization, Israel Baseball models respect, shared purpose, and joy. Through Israel Baseball Americas, I translate values into action—creating clinics, exchanges, and games that build skills, character, and mutual understanding.

To me, Israel Baseball means hope through effort: the belief that what we share on the diamond can deepen understanding off it and bring people together across borders and backgrounds.

Judaism is part of my core identity. Team Israel is a way to engage Jews and non Jews in the pride and success of Jews as athletes and people and to help keep Israel visible in positive ways.

Ken Stolman

Two of my greatest passions in life are baseball and finding creative ways to support the Jewish community. As an Ambassador to Team Israel, I am fortunate to combine these while building connections with local communities, strengthening Israel’s image and also promoting pride in Jewish heritage. This is a huge honor and I look forward to growing the brand in new and exciting ways.

Zack Ross

Vancouver

I have spent my life around the game of baseball. I played in college and represented Team Canada at the 2005 Maccabi Games. The sport has shaped who I am and taught me lessons about teamwork, discipline, competition, and community. Baseball has always been a place where people from different backgrounds can come together, push each other, and share something positive.
I am also deeply connected to Israel and believe strongly in the power of sport to bring people together. I want to help show the world what can happen when sport is used to create connection, joy, and understanding. My goal is to bring people closer through the love of the game and to represent Israel in a way that reflects unity, pride, and positivity.
I care about growing the sport, inspiring the next generation, and using baseball as a bridge wherever possible. Baseball has given me lifelong friendships and a sense of purpose and I am committed to passing that forward.
