Media Release

I, the undersigned, do hereby grant permission to The Israel Baseball Academy to use my likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media in any and all of its publications, including on the Israel Baseball Academy website and social media channels, without payment or other consideration.

I hereby release you, your representative, employees, managers, members, officers, parent companies, subsidiaries, and directors, from all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with any use of said “Materials”, including, without limitation, all claims for invasion of privacy, infringement of my right of publicity, defamation and any other personal and/or property rights.

I acknowledge and agree that no sums whatsoever will be due to me as a result of the use and/or exploitation of the “Materials” or any rights therein.

And, if the participant is under 18 years old, I certify that the participant’s parent/guardian has read this release and consents to the child’s inclusion in the materials, and will not contest the rights granted in this Release. 

Release of Liability

By checking the “accept” box for this waiver, I certify that the participant is able to partake in any way in the Israel Baseball Academy program, related events and activities, and the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that: 

1. The risk of injury to my child from the activities involved in these programs is significant, including the potential for permanent disability and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and,

2. FOR MYSELF, SPOUSE AND CHILD, I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my child’s participation; and,

3. I willingly agree to comply with the program’s stated and customary terms and conditions for participation in the Israel Baseball Academy. If I observe any unusual significant concern in my child’s readiness for participation and/or in the program itself, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,

4. I, for myself, my spouse, my child, and on behalf of my/our heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, and anyone acting on its behalf HEREBY RELEASE ISRAEL BASEBALL ACADEMY, its trainers, officers, officials,  agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event and anyone else acting on Israel Baseball Academy’s behalf (collectively, the “Releasees”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL  INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property incident to my child’s involvement or participation in these programs, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR  OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5. I, for myself, my spouse, my child, and on behalf of my/our heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, HEREBY INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS all the above from any and all liabilities incident to my involvement or participation in these programs, EVEN IF ARISING FROM NEGLIGENCE to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT. By accepting the release, I represent that I am the participant OR, if the participant is under 18 year old, I am the legal parent and/or guardian of the participant in question and I have authorization to sign on their behalf.

UNDERSTANDING OF RISK

I understand the seriousness of the risks involved in participating in this program, my personal responsibilities for adhering to rules and regulations, and accept them as a participant.

Return Policy

Israel Baseball Academy Refund Policy

Thank you for registering for an Israel Baseball Academy Showcase Event. We are so excited to have you. However, we understand things happen, so we wanted to provide some information and guidance on our refund policy. Please note, all refunds may exclude any processing or service fees.

If you are unable to attend:

• Leading up to the event: We will refund 100% of the registration fee via a method of our choosing.
• One week before the event: We will provide up to a 50% refund via a method of our choosing.

If we cancel:

If for some reason we have to cancel the event, we will refund participants 100% of the registration fee via a method of our choosing.

If the weather is bad:

Our number one priority is holding a safe event that brings our Jewish community together through baseball. Our showcase events are primarily held outdoors and are weather dependent. We understand that many of our participants have coordinated travel plans around our event so we are mindful to give as much notice as possible.

• Week of event: If we cancel the week of the event or earlier, we will reimburse 100% of the registration fee via a method of our choosing. We typically make a final decision no earlier than two days prior.
• Day-of cancellations: If we have to cancel within 24-hours of the event, we will provide reimbursement as a credit to a future showcase.
  For two-day events, If we cancel both days, we will provide 100% credit. If we cancel one day, we will provide a 50% credit.
